This presentation chronicles the international perspective of the ET issue and includes: 1. A history of the United Nations UFO Initiative. 2. France, Italy, Chile, and other official efforts.
J. Antonio Huneeus has covered the UFO field from an international perspective for over 30 years. His articles have appeared in dozens of publications in the U.S., Latin America, Europe and Japan. He was also the co-author of the Laurance Rockefeller-funded “UFO Briefing Document – The Best Available Evidence” and edited the book “A Study Guide to UFOs, Psychic & Paranormal Phenomena in the USSR.”
Huneeus studied French at the Sorbonne University in Paris and Journalism at the University of Chile in Santiago in the 1970s. He has lectured at dozens of UFO Conferences all over the world and been interviewed by many media outlets including The Washington Post, the Sy-Fy and History Channels, Nippon-TV, etc. He received the “Ufologist of the Year” award at the National UFO Conference in Miami Beach in 1990 and the “Courage in Journalism” award at the X-Conference in Gaithersburg, Maryland, in 2007.

July 4, 2011–Unorthodox researcher Michael Cremo discussed his continuing work in forbidden archeology-- studying objects that demonstrate the idea of extreme human antiquity. The notion that humans similar to us lived millions of years ago is written about in ancient Sanskrit texts from India, which interestingly also describe vimanas-- flying craft that resemble accounts of modern day UFOs. One Sanskrit text tells of a vimana, a metal craft with energy beam weapons, which attacked a huge city in India 5,000 years ago. Other vimanas were akin to "mind ships" that were made of subtle energies and could travel to different dimensions, he added.
Cremo detailed the discovery of Reck's Skeleton found in 1913 in Olduvai Gorge in Africa. It was an anatomically modern skeleton embedded in layers of rock that date back up to 1.7 million years ago. This provides evidence "that over a million and half years ago humans like us were existing," he said. There is also a "neanderthal" skull found at a mine in Africa that has a perfectly round hole that looked just like a bullet entry. It was found in strata several hundred thousand years old. We can't rule out the possibility that they had firearms in very ancient times, he commented.
A carved human figurine was uncovered during a drilling going down 300 ft. in Nampa, Idaho in 1889. The geological strata dates back to the Pleistocene age from around 2 million years ago, Cremo noted. He also shared his theory of de-evolution which suggests that humans have devolved from a higher state of consciousness that exists apart from matter.

Bio
Howard E. Wasdin joined the Navy to get money for college as a search-and-rescue swimmer but reenlisted to become a Navy SEAL. He graduated with Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL (BUD/S) Class 143. After the Battle of Mogadishu, he was medically retired in November 1995. He finished his biology degree and later became a doctor of chiropractic. He currently sees patients at his clinic located in Jesup, Georgia.
