Roger Leir personally witnessed Yalcin taking video of the anomalous object in the sky and was interviewed multiple times before he passed away.

Numerous analyses have been performed, including evaluations by a team of scientists from the Turkish government.

The initial release of the videos was made to the SIRIUS UFO group, under the leadership of researcher Haktan Akdoğan, which subsequently attracted significant international media coverage.
