Description:
Former CIA officer and whistleblower John Kiriakou tells Elizabeth Lane what government corruption looks like from the inside: officers who retire on Friday and come back Monday with a different colored badge and a no-bid contract, a company that grew into a multi-billion dollar business that way.
He explains the F-35 'flying duck', why the Pentagon has failed seven audits in a row, how the CIA hides its budget inside other agencies' line items, what happened to the truckloads of gear he handed to a Pakistani general, and why his bosses kept telling him: don't try to save the government money.
