Warwick Powell on Transition Protocol. The United States can't win the Iran war, and can't walk away from it. Powell explains the Vietnam-era trap Washington is in, and why Iran is ready for what comes next.
He argues the US cannot concede on the Strait of Hormuz, and that prestige, not ego, keeps Washington in the war. Vietnam-era logic, he says, pushes a losing war onto the next president. On 8 October, Trump posted there would be no attack on Iran before the 3 November midterms. Powell also covers the cost at home in diesel, freight, and power bills, and Australia's AUKUS dilemma.

SpaceWeatherNews on a mostly calm sun, with a departing flare-active group and new sunspots on the incoming southern limb. A CME due on October 9 left no clear shock in the solar wind, geomagnetic conditions stayed quiet, and the show expects at least one more impact, plus a coronal-hole stream early next week.
That coronal hole was the earthquake watch called on the October 8 show. A magnitude 7.7 struck Panama on October 9, with initial tsunami concerns, and the show says there were no casualties. Linked papers cover solar forcing of Pacific precipitation and northwest Pacific cyclones, and a lab study in which seeds germinated poorly when the geomagnetic field was removed.
The Houthis are advancing in Yemen and Saudi Arabia is facing its most dangerous crisis in a century. With Taiz reportedly encircled, MBS pleading for ground troops that Turkey, Pakistan and Syria will not send, and Trump still undecided on a new Iran operation, they argue the real Middle East flashpoint is no longer Iran or Hormuz but the stability of the Saudi kingdom itself. Can diplomacy with the US, Russia and China save MBS, or did his bet on Trump over BRICS cost him everything?

Following their recent trip to Russia, Professor John Mearsheimer joins former CIA analyst Larry Johnson to examine why Western hostility toward Moscow has intensified long after the Cold War.
Daniel Liszt presents Dark Journalist X-Series episode 240 on nightside forces, Nikola Tesla, Edgar Cayce, Rudolf Steiner, John Trump, the Apotheum mystery school, and a UFO file. The episode also covers the Apotheum effect, a moon buster, space wars, missing scientists, and CERN.
The host notes earlier reports on missing scientists after the death of MIT neutron-star merger scientist Nuno Laureiro in December 2025 and General William McCasland in February 2026.
Pepe Escobar and Larry Johnson with Zulfiqar Ali on Transition Protocol. A senior source in Pakistan's military establishment told the show, in answer to five questions, that no Pakistani aircraft entered Yemeni airspace — "None. Zero." — and that the foreigners inside Saudi Arabia's war are mostly American: 110 American advisors, two Pakistani radar specialists and two Turkish technicians.
CNN has separately reported more than 100 US military advisers supporting the Saudi campaign. On 8 October Pakistan's Information Ministry called a New York Times report of Pakistani jets "fake and fabricated". The source says every Pakistani unit is around Mecca and Medina, under Pakistani command, not Najran.
Escobar says any move toward the border would make Pakistani forces "legitimate targets". Also Saudi Arabia's money, Trump's pause on Iran until after 3 November, and what a senior Iranian source told the host two hours before recording.
The five answers and the 110 / 2 / 2 figures come from that Pakistani military source. The Iranian remarks are a senior Iranian source speaking to the host. Larry Johnson's account of damage at Abqaiq and on the East–West pipeline has not been independently confirmed.
Episode 2044. Kiev has been plunged into darkness after Russian drones knocked out the Kievska substation, halting the metro and disrupting the sewage system. Alexander analyses the campaign against Kiev's bridges, power grid and SBU sites, graphics of Zelensky's bunker now circulating online, Zelensky's complaints that Europe and the United States are abandoning Ukraine, and the collapse of the Kharkov cauldron as Russian forces advance in Sumy and Donbass. SpaceWeatherNews on Friday, October 9, still waiting on shock-wave impact, with a hurricane bearing down on the Gulf Coast. An M6.8 flare erupted in the last day and destabilized a filament: a wide, faint burst whose shock crossed about half the sun.
The show links an ASM Microbiology Spectrum paper on hypomagnetic conditions that recreate the loss of Earth's magnetic field. It says the harm was largest in the smallest insect groups and nearly absent in the largest, which it reads as close groups shielding one another, then jokes that the answer to the universe is 42. The linked EGUsphere preprint by Jia Jia and colleagues finds mesospheric ozone losses of about 30 to 80 percent in four Solar Cycle 25 storms, in May and October 2024, November 2025, and January 2026. The show notes those models did not reproduce the upper loss, says an 80 percent hit would not fit a normal magnetic field short of an extreme flare, and expects the daily ozone record to break again this weekend, with pollution controls helping lower down and the pole shift leaving the upper layers open to space energy.
I have a mission for you, should you choose to accept it. But be forewarned: it's not a glamorous mission and, given that it represents a real threat to the state, it might even become dangerous. But if we don't undertake this mission, there's little chance that we'll be able to form the mutual aid organizations that will see us through the coming years of turbulence. Are you ready? Your mission is: unvandalism. Join James for this week's edition of #SolutionsWatch as he explains this concept and how this seemingly trivial activity can have very large consequences.
On this episode of The Target with Robert Inlakesh, we dive into a staggering new admission: around 30,000 Israeli soldiers have been injured since October 7 according to Tel Aviv's own data, with this toll predicted to be much higher.
This is the true cost of American imperialism, Israeli expansionism and unconditional Western backing. Three years and thousands of personnel lost later & they still have failed to achieve a strategic victory on any front.
As Yemen blows up Saudi Aircraft, destroys oil facilities, and Iran expands its range of fire around the Strait of Hormuz, we take a look at Israel's current military predicament, its loss of soldiers, equipment, morale & inability to continue sustaining its "seven-front war".
While Tel Aviv grapples with this internal collapse, a strategic shockwave is building. Israel has identified Yemen as a "mini-Iran" that possesses tens of thousands of missiles, capable of hitting not only Saudi Arabia but also Israeli targets —with precision.
Israeli estimates are that since 2020 the IRGC have been aiding Yemen to develop a new generation of ballistic missiles & drones that are now achieving unprecedented military achievements.
Our American Alchemist this week is John S. Herrington, Ronald Reagan's Secretary of Energy, who ran America's nuclear weapons complex at the height of the Cold War.
John joined Reagan as a volunteer advance man in the 1960s. He later served as Assistant Secretary of the Navy, head of White House personnel, and Secretary of Energy from 1985 to 1989. In this episode, John takes us inside Reagan's cabinet: the stealth fighter he found hidden in his own budget, the Strategic Defense Initiative and Edward Teller's nuclear-powered space laser, Reagan's "throw deep" approval of the Superconducting Super Collider, and the secret Taiwanese nuclear weapons program the U.S. shut down. He also takes on the UFO question. He says the Navy's UAP videos are real, but calls a Reagan-era alien story "total B.S." and challenges David Grusch and others to show hard evidence.

Alexander examines why the largest NATO military delegation in eight years made an unannounced trip to Kiev just as the Dnieper bridges go down and the front lines buckle at Dobropillia and Lyman. Drawing on a trusted source, Alexander explains why Russia is weakening the bridges rather than destroying them, how that links to rumors of General Surovikin's return, and what Peskov, Lavrov and Rubio saying talks are pointless means for the months ahead. If the generals came to Kiev to be told all is well, who is left to tell them the truth?
