When the world didn't blow up on December 21, 2012 or wasn't overrun by aliens, when the third world war didn't break out in earnest, or the sun go nova, the date was considered a "non-event", and we assumed the prophesies were wrong. Russell Targ, is a physicist and author who was a pioneer in the development of the laser and laser applications and was cofounder of the Stanford Research Institute's investigation into psychic abilities in the 1970s and 1980s for the CIA. This previously classified work, in what is now widely known as remote viewing, was published in Nature, The Proceedings of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and the Proceedings of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
Targ has a B.S. in Physics from Queens College, and did graduate work in physics at Columbia University. He received two National Aeronautics and Space Administration awards for inventions and contributions in lasers and laser communications; and invitations were accepted in 1983 and 1984 to present remote viewing demonstrations, and to address the USSR Academy of Sciences on this research. In 1998 Targ retired from Lockheed Martin Missiles & Space Co. as a senior staff scientist, where he developed airborne laser systems for the detection of windshear. He now pursues ESP research in Palo Alto, California, and is also publishing special editions of classic books in psychical research. He is co-author of eight books dealing with the scientific investigation of psychic abilities, Buddhism, and a recent autobiography.

Expert in out-of-body exploration and the paranormal, Bob Peterson, discussed a number of topics including OBEs, astral travel, lucid dreams, and sleep paralysis. Peterson said he's been having OBEs (out-of-body experiences) for over 33 years, and that most OBE authors/researchers agree that we leave our bodies during nightly sleep, and this recharges us with some kind of cosmic energy. However, people aren't aware of this because they're unconscious. "The trick is to become conscious and aware of what these experiences are," he said, adding that there are a variety of techniques to induce an OBE. One of his methods, is when approaching the edge of sleep, to visualize a cube spinning, and start to manipulate it, pulling it closer and further away. You visualize the cube coming closer and closer, and eventually let it pull you out of the body, he detailed. More techniques are posted here.
"Many people have reported that their out-of-body experiences have had a level of consciousness and awareness and even perception that far surpasses physical reality," as well as that of lucid dreams, he commented. Peterson has theorized there are four different OBE states: unconscious + hallucinating = ordinary dream, unconscious + objective reality = shared dreams (ala author Robert Moss), conscious + hallucinating = lucid dreams, conscious + objective reality = OBE. You can transition from a lucid dream into an OBE by dispelling the illusion of the dream, he continued. Incredible object caught in orbit around the Sun by SOHO. Object is roughly the size of our moon and has a distinct flight pattern. This indicates to me that its under intelligent control. This is not dust, a Planet or Star in my opinion, its an unidentified object, most probably an Extraterrestrial vessel gathering huge amounts of electrical energy or plasma from the Suns corona. -ADG UK

He was personally appointed to the Secret Service White House detail by President John F. Kennedy after meeting him on April 28th 1961, and as a result became the first African-American to achieve this honor.
Following the President’s assassination, Mr. Bolden became disenchanted with what he saw to be severe misconduct and corruption among his peers. He traveled to Washington in the Spring of 1964 to tell the staff of the Warren Commission about a secret Chicago assassination plot against JFK. Shortly thereafter he was arraigned on federal charges that he had solicited a bribe from a counterfeiting ring that he had helped break, and subsequently spent six years in prison. The People's Daily - considered a mouthpiece of China's Communist party - all but laid claim to the archipelago in an article written by academics.
