Richard Dolan is author UFOs and the National Security State: Chronology of a Cover-up 1941-1973, UFOs and the National Security State: The Cover-Up Exposed 1973-1991, A. D. After Disclosure: When the Government Finally Reveals the Truth About Alien Contact, The Secret Space Program and Breakaway Civilization, The Alien Agendas: A Speculative Analysis of Those Visiting Earth, and UFOs for the 21st Century Mind: The Definitive Guide to the UFO Mystery. His newest book is The History of USOs: Unidentified Submerged Objects.
Here he points out that observations of mysterious objects have been reported since ancient times entering or leaving bodies of water. They seem to follow certain patterns, for example responding to changes in human technology, that suggest an intelligence behind their operation. In many regards they resemble UFOs. Dolan reviews his findings from having analyzed over 600 cases of this type.
