At a time when most of the planet is of the opinion that NASA is pretty much out of the space exploration business these days, the successful landing of the Curiosity rover is especially significant. Of course, this mission was started long before the Obama Administration canceled most of NASA's plans for manned spaceflight. That this mission escaped the axe is curious in and of itself.
It is curious because of statements made by NASA's Deputy Administrator, Lori B. Garver, on the live video feed as Curiosity was racing into its final phase before actually landing. She was being interviewed on air and said that part of the Curiosity mission includes some crucial tests (like radiation measurements) to help NASA know how to protect "our astronauts" when they are sent there. She also mentioned that the landing of something as large as Curiosity helps NASA prepare for landing astronauts on Mars.
Did they not get the memo? Or were we misinformed by the media? Is it not the case that NASA announced the cancellation of their planned missions to the moon and to Mars? At least, that is what the public was told. Is it not a fact that NASA does not now have the capability of launching astronauts into space and are hitchhiking with the Russians on Soyuz? So far as the public has been advised by the media, NASA is pretty much out of the manned space exploration business.
Yes, they still have astronauts hitch hiking up to the ISS. Their work on the ISS is manned space science. However, it is not manned space exploration. They are in low Earth orbit circling the Earth again and again and again.
Curiosity's mission is, according to Garver, tied to stepping up into a manned mission to Mars. Is there a sort of manned space exploration undercurrent at NASA even though they have publicly canceled manned space exploration?
It is interesting to note that even as they cancelled their manned missions to return to the moon and then on to Mars, they have continued to develop and talk about a new super-lift system to take astronauts "farther and faster than ever before". So, when? To where? It is somewhat heartening to hear that Curiosity is playing a role in preparing for manned exploration of Mars, but curiously confusing as well. What do they know that they are not telling us? What they have told us is both that the missions are cancelled, and that they are preparing for missions to Mars. Yes, it's a curiosity indeed.

Parker describes a resurgence of interest in Rife machines, which many believe to be capable of destroying viruses and bacteria in the body without damaging surrounding tissue by using targeted resonant frequencies.
According to Parker, misinformation exists on Rife machines that has led to improperly constructed machines being sold to unaware experimenters. July 28, 2012–John B. Wells welcomed Roger Tolces, a private investigator specializing in electronic counter-measures, who discussed how surveillance and harassment has shifted from hardware to bio-coded directed energy as well as the various technologies currently being used to manipulate individuals. "The people that are attempting to control our minds and control everything really don't care about personal life when they want to get something done... nothing stands in the way," he said. Tolces suggested Aurora, Colorado shooter James Holmes may have been a black ops victim in a staged event meant to undermine the second amendment and advance gun control legislation. According to Tolces, this legislation is in direct conflict with the vision of the Founding Fathers who desired a nation of armed citizens as insurance against government tyranny.
James Holmes could have been a victim of a DNA-based form of mind control, he suggested. Tolces said he first learned about such a mind control technique after decoding secret Russian spy documents. Based on patented voice-to-skull (V2K) technology originally proposed to help the deaf hear, bio-coded directed energy is specifically tuned to an individual's DNA algorithm and can be used to make that person hear voices, he explained. These non-stop voices can go on for weeks at a time and ultimately drive a person to act on the psychologically defeating message, Tolces speculated. He claimed to have had clients who were victimized by this technology.
Tolces also commented on the NSA's new multi-billion dollar data center in Utah and provided some background as to why the facility was constructed. In the wake of 9/11, President Bush allowed NSA supercomputers at Fort Meade to tap into major telecom providers to monitor communications, he said. "The people that are attempting to control our minds and control everything really don't care about personal life when they want to get something done... nothing stands in the way," he said. Tolces suggested Aurora, Colorado shooter James Holmes may have been a black ops victim in a staged event meant to undermine the second amendment and advance gun control legislation. According to Tolces, this legislation is in direct conflict with the vision of the Founding Fathers who desired a nation of armed citizens as insurance against government tyranny.
James Holmes could have been a victim of a DNA-based form of mind control, he suggested. Tolces said he first learned about such a mind control technique after decoding secret Russian spy documents. Based on patented voice-to-skull (V2K) technology originally proposed to help the deaf hear, bio-coded directed energy is specifically tuned to an individual's DNA algorithm and can be used to make that person hear voices, he explained. The Democrats and Republicans deliberately discourage third party candidates, and make it difficult for them to participate in the presidential debates, he noted. These two big parties are "very much like pro-wrestling," he commented. "In front of the public they're adversaries and they're going to kill each other, while behind the scenes they're working together-- they're business partners."
The two-party system keeps people stupid, with conservatives automatically voting for Republicans, and liberals voting for Democrats, without considering the individual merits of each candidate, he continued. In the upcoming November presidential election, it doesn't matter who wins-- we'll still get the same policies, he argued (Ventura said he is supporting the Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson). If Ventura were President, among the things he said he'd do is close America's foreign military bases, enact campaign finance reform to eliminate the "system of bribery," and abolish income tax and switch to a national sales tax.
He also spoke about the mysterious death of past C2C guest Dr. Fred Bell, who the day before he died of a heart attack, had flown to Minnesota to tape a whistle-blower segment on free energy for Ventura's TV show, Conspiracy Theory. Off the record, Bell told him that he had a CIA handler who was going to go ballistic when he found out about the interview.
