He is co-author (with Laura Kavanau) of THE BIG WHITE LIE ("La Guerra Falsa") and TRIANGLE OF DEATH. Today, Mr. Levine's books continue to acquire sterling reviews and international recognition. Mr. Levine is one of the most highly decorated DEA agents in that agency's history.
He was charged with design and orchestration of some of the government's most significant national and international Deep Cover and conspiracy investigations. Mr. Levine held multiple positions in the DEA, including Group Supervisor in the New York City Field Division, Special Operations Officer worldwide and Country Attaché to Argentina and Uruguay. Chronic electrical surges at the massive new data-storage facility central to the National Security Agency's spying operation have destroyed hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of machinery and delayed the center's opening for a year, according to project documents and current and former officials.
There have been 10 meltdowns in the past 13 months that have prevented the NSA from using computers at its new Utah data-storage center, slated to be the spy agency's largest, according to project documents reviewed by The Wall Street Journal.
One project official described the electrical troubles—so-called arc fault failures—as "a flash of lightning inside a 2-foot box." These failures create fiery explosions, melt metal and cause circuits to fail, the official said.
The causes remain under investigation, and there is disagreement whether proposed fixes will work, according to officials and project documents. One Utah project official said the NSA planned this week to turn on some of its computers there.

Lavabit owner Ladar Levison closed his encrypted email company after refusing to comply with a government effort to tap his customers' information. It is now been confirmed the FBI was targeting National Security Agency leaker Edward Snowden, who used Lavabit's services. But Levison says that instead of just targeting Snowden, the government effectively wanted access to the accounts of 400,000 other Lavabit customers.
Levison now says that since first going public, he has been summoned before a grand jury, fined $10,000 for handing over encryption keys on paper instead of digitally, and threatened with arrest for speaking out. The Justice Department began targeting Labavit the day after Snowden revealed himself as the source of the NSA leaks. October 4, 2013–Tjeerd Andringa is an associate professor of Sensory Cognition at the ALICE Institute at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. He recently wrote a fascinating paper that provides an in-depth analysis of bureaucracy as a psychological phenomenon. The paper also lists key-features and indicators of encroaching government administration that creates virtual iron cages with papers, rules, forms and protocols.
Andringa details the driving forces of bureaucracy from the perspective of cognitive science. He explains that the authoritarian's fear of a complex world is existential, so the technocrat in charge of government or other organizations is quite ruthless in the efforts to simplify the working environment(the real world), in order to try to understand it better. He says that fear is at the root of the problem. In the second hour, we discuss further how bureaucracy applies to both conspiracies and geopolitics. We discuss how behavior drives decisions that can be categorized either as authoritarian or libertarian. A clear distinction is made between authoritarians, who favor more bureaucracy vs. libertarians, who favor no bureaucracy at all. "This is not mainly about trade," says Lori Wallach, director of Public Citizen's Global Trade Watch. "It is a corporate trojan horse. The agreement has 29 chapters, and only five of them have to do with trade. Fresh clashes have erupted in Syria between secular rebels and Al CIAda-linked extremists. It's the latest spate of infighting among the anti-Assad camp, which has seen a rapid rise of radicals in their numbers. Western analysts put the total number of rebels at around a hundred thousand. They're split into as many as a thousand different groups. Ten thousand fighters are radical jihadists with links to Al CIAda. Up to 35 thousand others are hardline Islamists, who share many of Al CIAda's views. That leaves the more moderate rebels vastly outnumbered. Born and raised in Southern California, Albert Taylor performed development engineering on a top secret program which has since become known as the F-117A Stealth Fighter. In 1959 he joined the White House Army Signaling Agency and served under President Eisenhower and then under President Kennedy with an above top secret clearance. He was familiar with Project Blue Book and related how that project documented highly scientific and specific UFO cases from very reliable sources. They reviewed photos taken from Air Force pilots, Marine Air Corps pilots and some foreign pilots and multiple reports of radar lock-ons. He was also shown a piece of metallic debris taken from the Roswell crash.
