Award-winning film director Quentin Tarantino is refusing to back down from his criticism of police brutality, even as police unions have launched a campaign to boycott his films. Tarantino sparked controversy after he called fatal police shootings "murders" during the Rise Up October rally against police brutality in New York City on October 24.
Tarantino’s comments have come under intense criticism, with several major police unions calling for a boycott of his films. "[Tarantino] clearly saw what anybody with eyes on their head could see," says Academy Award-nominated actor Viggo Mortensen. "What’s troubling is the tacit condoning of these abuses of power by certain police officers by their bosses, by people who should know better." Mortensen also looks back on his own brush with a right-wing political backlash, after he famously wore a T-shirt on the PBS show Charlie Rose that said "No more blood for oil."

An exclusive journey of four years inside the triple tragedy which hit Japan on March 11, 2011, following Italian Sky News reporter Pio d’Emilia who has lived in Japan for more than thirty years. Pio was in Tokyo the day of the earthquake. After travelling across all the municipalities hit by the tsunami and after illegally entering the so-called “exclusion zone” already established but loosely enforced by the government he actually reaches the gate of the nuclear plant. Richard and Mike, together with Red Ice Creations team members Henrik Palmgren, the host of Red Ice Radio, and Radio 3Fourteen’s host, Lana Lokteff, participated in a live podcast/panel discussion at Become Who We Are.
In this dialogue, the panel covers a wide array of concerns currently being tackled by the Alternative Right and the Nationalist movement, which has been gaining momentum as more and more Europeans begin to wake up to the reality of the dispossession of their people and motherlands. Henrik begins by addressing the refugee crisis in Sweden and the demographic suicide that is occurring at the hands of psychopathic politicians.
