According to newly published documents, the National Security Agency has built a “Google-like” search interface for its vast database of metadata, and the agency shares it with dozens of other American intelligence agencies. The new documents are part of the Snowden leaks and were first published on Monday by The Intercept.
The new search tool, called ICREACH, is described in an internal NSA presentation as a “large scale expansion of communications metadata shared with [intelligence community] partners.” That same presentation shows that ICREACH has been operational since the pilot launched in May 2007. Not only is data being shared to more agencies, but there are more types of such data being shared—ICREACH searches over 850 billion records.
New data types being shared include IMEI numbers (a unique identifier on each mobile handset), IMSI (another unique identifier for SIM cards), GPS coordinates, e-mail address, and chat handles, among others. Previously, such metadata was only limited to date, time, duration, called number, and calling number.

Julian Assange plans to leave the Ecuadorian Embassy in the near future, he told a press conference at the embassy's London compound, where he's been holed up for two years. The WikiLeaks founder gave no further details.
"I am leaving the embassy soon, but perhaps not for the reasons [reported]," he told journalists, refusing to clarify what his reasons are.
Speaking at the conference, he recounted the ordeal of having to hide from prosecution in a case where for four years no charges have been leveled. This has led to a serious deterioration of his health, including heart problems.
He listed a host of reasons he believes to be at the center of the injustice taking place in his situation.
"Throughout this entire time I have not been charged," he spoke. "Europe is meant to be a place where the rule of law is respected, where basic rights are respected... but somehow a situation has developed where basic rights that we have previously universally accepted are no longer respected."
The whistleblower continues to flatly deny any rape allegations, which have not been backed up by any formal charges.
Ecuador's Foreign Minster Ricardo Patino was was also present at the conference to defend Assange. He spoke of the continuing efforts on the part of Assange's legal team and the govenrment of Ecuador to bring the situation to a close in a manner that satisfies both the Ecuadorian and the Swedish legal systems. However, they have not come to fruition.
He saw Assange's stay at the embassy as "two years of great uncertainty and lack of justice for everyone," because, while "the effective legal protection of [the whistleblower] has been breached" and no progress was made in the case, the same was true for the Swedish women who are the alleged victims at the other end.
"We continue to be ready to talk to the British and Swedish governments," Patino said. But "It is time to free Julian Assange, it’s time for his legal rights to be respected."

The deadly consequences of such a war would extend beyond Russia, Europe, and the US to the entire world. The Western use of lies to demonize Russia endangers life on earth and reveals the West to be both reckless and irresponsible. Yet, few voices are raised against this recklessness and irresponsibility.
Ron Unz brings to our attention the important voice of a distinguished Dutch journalist, Karel Van Wolferen. James Bamford Describes His NEW Interview With Edward Snowden, Aug. 14, 2014

The US National Security Agency owns a “MonsterMind” program designed to prevent foreign cyberattacks and, also, automatically strike back, former NSA contractor Edward Snowden told Wired magazine.
In his latest revelation, Snowden said that the defense software in the works would robotically hunt for the launches of foreign cyberattacks against the US and neutralize them.
MonsterMind - unlike similar schemes that have existed for many years now - would also be capable to fire back at such attacks without any human intervention Snowden said in an extended interview with Wired’s writer James Bamford.
The new defense program, Snowden warned, could unintentionally cause serious diplomatic incidents, because many cyberattacks are routed through computers in countries that are not aware of their involvement. That means that a retaliation strike launched by the US system could lead to a conflict with the nation where the machines used by adversaries are located.
“These attacks can be spoofed,” Snowden said. “You could have someone sitting in China, for example, making it appear that one of these attacks is originating in Russia. And then we end up shooting back at a Russian hospital. What happens next?”
The NSA leaker did not specify how exactly a counterstrike would work and whether it would completely disable the attacking system.
Huge privacy concerns is another problem that MonsterMind could stir up, Snowden believes. To make the program work, the NSA would have to spy on basically spy on all private communications coming in from abroad to the US, the whistleblower explained.
“The argument is that the only way we can identify these malicious traffic flows and respond to them is if we're analyzing all traffic flows,” Snowden said. “And if we're analyzing all traffic flows, that means we have to be intercepting all traffic flows.” This, in his words, is a violation on the Fourth Amendment to the US Constitution, “seizing private communications without a warrant, without probable cause or even a suspicion of wrongdoing”.

'V' was contacted, through an intermediary, by a US Air Force 4 Star General. This man was in charge of Asymmetric Warfare, and was in line to be Head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. He was asked if he would be prepared to order troops to fire on US citizens on American soil. He refused. He was escorted from Langley under armed guard.
The man has since been harassed. He's taken key possessions from his house, and (with his wife) is now trying to leave the US. The General was scared, shaken to the core.

∙ There are soon to be a million illegals per month coming over the Mexican border, part of a 10-11 year plan.
∙ The US dollar will be undermined by the end of 2015.
∙ By 2017, no later (he said), the US will no longer exist. The US economy will be destroyed. There
will be a 'shotgun merge' of the US with Canada and Mexico.
∙ By the end of 2017, it will be announced that the US no longer exists as a functional government.
∙ Major economic upheaval will ensue.
∙ Announcements about all this have ALREADY been prepared for the mainstream media.
∙ $8 billion (at least: maybe as high as $32 billion) black ops money has been utilized to rebuild the Silk Road. This is a real highway, super-strongly built, between London and South Korea, just for commercial and military transport. It will reduce transport time to Europe from 40 days (sea) to 14 days (road).
∙ Financial control will be in the City of London, religious control in the Vatican.
∙ The DC government will be relocated to Denver.
∙ China will be the manufacturing engine of this 'new world'.
∙ Plans are ON SCHEDULE (if not slightly ahead).
∙ Drone pilot program: their star drone pilot has become very distraught, through being ordered to kill civilians. Drone programs to be run in the US are very dark: drone pilots have no connection with one another; they're not allowed ever to talk to one another. This ties into the handling of the American Civilian resistance.
∙ The General said: "There's no way to stop this. The resistance is already dead".
∙ He said most people buying firearms now are not emotionally ready to go up against trained tactical teams. They have no idea of the magnitude of professional, mercenary force that's coming against them.
∙ When they bring down the US in 2017, bioweapons will be placed in key locations in American cities. He gave this example:
If you have a 33 oz can of Folgers coffee, and you have a bio-agent in there, and you open that can in a populated area, with a very light wind, you could have 20 million dead in 3 days. He said this kind of bioagent will affect the air and water, and will have a 98% kill rate. The weapon's 'signature' will not be known: complete plausible deniability, untraceable to the real source.
∙ He said when this happens, all US passports will be canceled, and all ports and airports will be closed. Gunships will sink any small boats that attempt to leave the country by sea.
