The late June Singer, Ph.D., was a Jungian analyst and a founder of the C. G. Jung Institute in Chicago. She was author of The Unholy Bible: A Psychological Interpretation of William Blake, Androgyny, Energies of Love and Boundaries of the Soul: The Practice of Jung's Psychology. Here she explains how Jung developed his notion that sexual imagery represents the creative spiritual force. She also discusses the "collective unconscious" and Jung's theories of individuation and personality types.
