Jeane Manning is a pillar in the Breakthrough Energy community as author of several books and lecturer and organizer of breakthrough energy events and a study group in Vancouver, B.C. Jeane has served as an advisor to the New Energy Congress since Feb. 2009. She is also a founder of the New Energy Movement.

Randy Maugans has spent his adult life seeking the truth about “what’s out there”, as result of two (known) childhood “contacts” with “something” he could not explain. “OffPlanet Radio” is the natural outgrowth of his interests in the areas of the paranormal, technology, and communications…the “future” caught up with him.

The journey is physical, spiritual, emotional, and mental…we are drawn into a very human battle with forces that seem beyond our comprehension…or ARE they? “They” haven’t won, but have awakened sleeping giants who do not accept the proposition that we were thrown headlong into a malevolent universe. Humans can choose to be victims, or choose to be empowered…humans can remain blind, to their peril.

The Eyeopener Report | Chemical Hypocrisy: Lies and Disinformation on the Road to War, August 29, 2013

Source: corbettreport.com, boilingfrogspost.com

We are being told that this attack is being prepared because Assad crossed the "red line" of chemical weapons use. This is a lie. America has never cared about the victims of chemical weapons attacks ever in its history unless it can achieve its own military objectives by parading on the corpses of those victims. This time is no exception. -corbettreport.com

Brian & Anna Maria Clement | Toxic Clothing: Synthetic vs. Natural Fibers, August 28, 2013

Source: Radio 3Fourteen, hippocratesinst.org

August 28, 2013–Co-authors Dr. Brian Clement and Dr. Anna Maria Clement are Co-Directors of the Hippocrates Health Institute in West Palm Beach, Florida. These two physicians created wellness and disease prevention programs followed by more than 300,000 people who have spent a week or more at the Institute. They have authored a dozen books on natural health antidotes to illness and disease.

We discuss their book Killer Clothes. They'll explain how seemingly innocent clothing choices endanger your health. This has been documented by numerous medical studies. Brian and Anna Maria detail the toxins involved in clothing and fabric manufacturing. We talk about the harmful effects of synthetic clothing vs. the advantages of natural fiber fabrics and organics. Drs. Brian and Anna Maria explain how the increased use of synthetic clothing fibers has contributed to breast cancer, infertility and a range of diseases. Women who wear synthetic bras, nylons and panties are at a greater risk of getting cancer and infections.

We'll also discuss the "father" of synthetic fabrics, Wallace Hume Carothers, a Dupont chemist who later killed himself. While the fashion industry attempts to uphold an image of beauty, hosting charitable galas claiming to care about humanity and the environment, lays an ugly secret hidden from public awareness involving lobbyists, mass worldwide pollution, money and cancer causing chemicals. Meanwhile natural super fibers such a hemp, that grow naturally without any intervention, are suppressed. Later, we discuss the hypocrisy of the eco-friendly and green claims used by health companies and organic clothing manufacturers. The interview ends on the dangerous future of clothing as nanoparticles are now being woven into fabrics. -Radio 3Fourteen

RT | Chems in Syria: Cause for invasion or regime's crime?, August 28, 2013

Source: RT.com

The UN-Arab League envoy to Syria, Lakhdar Brahimi, says there's evidence suggesting that some kind of chemical substance was used in an attack near Damascus a week ago - but that there's no proof at this point that the Assad government is responsible. But, such an assault in itself could be enough for the US and its allies to launch a military offensive against the war-torn country - despite the UN and Syria saying the inspectors need more time at the site.

RT has a panel of experts to talk to about the developments surrounding Syria. Marcus Papadopoulos - Middle East commentator and Editor of Politics First; Pavel Andreev - Executive Director of the Valdai Club Foundation, a discussion group of leading experts across many fields; Sunny Hundai - Editor of the political blog 'Liberal Conspiracy'; Anissa Naouai - RT's Senior Political Correspondent. -RT.com

RT | The Resident: Aspartame is GMO Poop, August 28, 2013

Source: RT.com, twitter.com/TheResident

The patent for aspartame is now online, and it reveals how the artificial sweetener is made. Genetically modified E. coli bacteria are cultivated in tanks. They defecate proteins that contain aspartic acid-phenylalanine amino acid segments. That feces is collected and then treated through many chemical processes including methylation, which adds the toxic alcohol, methanol, to the mix. That's how aspartame is made. It might be time to rethink diet foods as healthy options. The Resident (aka Lori Harfenist) discusses. -RT.com

As Strikes on Syria Loom, Is U.S. Ignoring a Diplomatic Track That Could Prevent More Violence? , August 28, 2013

Source: democracynow.org

Britain is set to introduce a United Nations Security Council resolution authorizing military action in Syria as the United States and allies gear up for expected strikes on the Assad regime. The resolution condemns the Syrian government for allegedly using chemical weapons and authorizes "necessary measures for protecting civilians." Russia and China are expected to issue a veto, raising the prospect that a U.S.-led bombing could come through NATO.

The Obama administration says military action in Syria would be aimed at responding to chemical attacks, not seeking regime change, but critics say similar claims were made at the outset of the NATO intervention in Libya. "There is no military solution," says Phyllis Bennis of the Institute for Policy Studies. "Extra assaults from the United States are going to make the situation worse, put Syrian civilians at greater risk, and not provide protection." -democracynow.org

As Fukushima Raises Severity Level, Nuclear Expert Warns Radioactive Leaks Will Only "Get Worse" , August 28, 2013

Source: democracynow.org

Japan's nuclear regulator said today it has officially raised the severity rating of the latest radioactive water leak at the crippled Fukushima nuclear plant to Level 3 on an international scale for radiological releases. The plant's operator, Tokyo Electric Power Co. (TEPCO), said last week that 330 tons of highly radioactive water leaked from a storage tank at the facility.

Crews of workers have been rushing to check for leaks in hundreds of other tanks holding radioactive water. Japanese regulators have accused TEPCO of failing to properly monitor the storage tanks. "The problem is going to get worse," warns Arnie Gundersen, a former nuclear industry executive who has coordinated projects at 70 nuclear power plants around the United States. "Radioactive water is leaking out of this plant as fast as it is leaking in." -democracynow.org
